What I do
- I am a Technical Writer and Content Strategist on the marketing and communications team in the School of Computer Science. I am also a part of the larger RI Web, Media, and Events team. While my home department is SCS, I focus heavily on RI communications!
- I develop and write news stories and press releases for the SCS schools covering research, awards, student life, local and national research impact, and other relevant topics.
- I am the Robotics Institute social media manager and content designer.
- I assist with expanding and updating web content for the RI public site and intranet, filming interviews, and coordinating media events.
- I put together the RI monthly newsletter, which includes RI highlights, announcements, events, construction updates, and other important RI details.
