Carnegie Mellon CD Press – A low volume CD duplicating service being offered to the campus community by the Internet Systems Lab within the Robotics Institute.

Advantages:


  • Quick turn-around, usually “next day” on short runs
  • Inexpensive – $6.00 without a label, $7.00 with a label
  • Centrally located on campus, Wean Hall – WEH5320A
  • CD-R copies made from customer’s CD-R master or master CD-R can be created from customer’s downloadable files
  • CD Press has been in operation since January, 2000 and to date has made thousands of CD-R copies for its many campus community customers

  • Auto-loading standalone CD-R duplicating system
  • Duplication of up to 100 CD-Rs per production run
  • Multiple CD formats supported
  • Optional custom labeling using full CD-R size paper label system
  • Bulk U.S. mailing of copies to customer’s audience distribution list

  • We accept Oracle charge numbers, checks, or cash . . . sorry no credit cards

Service Possibilities:


  • Required course materials on CD-R containing streaming video/audio of course lectures
  • Student CD-R “sets” for course guidelines and assignments for the semester
  • Research data on CD-R requiring shared copies for other research participants
  • Audio / video samplings requiring backup copies
  • Workshop, seminar, defense presentations recorded on CD-R
