The Robotics Institute Student Org is excited to invite you all to join a catered fireside chat with David Silver, PhD, next Monday April 6th at 3:30pm in NSH 3305!

Dave completed his PhD in the RI with Tony Stentz in 2010 on “Learning Preference Models for Autonomous Mobile Robots in Complex Domains”. Dave’s 20+ year career includes nearly a decade at Waymo and Google starting in 2013, with his tenure as a Waymo Technical Lead on Scene Understanding beginning in January 2017. Currently the Director of Robotics at Wayve, he has since directed engineering organizations at John Deere and Iron Ox.
