Current Labs & Groups

Human-Robot Interaction Group - We are interested in many aspects of human-robot interaction related to how humans and robots can work safely and effectively together.
Visualization and Image Analysis - We are developing new methods of displaying, analyzing, and haptically rendering images, primarily for medical applications.

Current Projects

FingersightTM - We are developing videotactile fingertip sensors which will enable people to interact with the visible world via their fingertips.
Sonic FlashlightTM - We are developing a method of medical visualization that merges real time ultrasound images with direct human vision.
