RoboOrg meeting 11/12/04

BlackFriday event - December 15th - Nidhi & Caroline

Budget - We are $600 under-budget for PSRs. Can we use the cash for a TV somehow?
Robobudget basics from Jake: 
* we get $3k/sem for PSRs from the RI
* we get $1.5k/year from GSA

TV: broken. Options:
* buy a new one? Jake may be able to find money for it.
* Ask Cheryl for one? 
* Another one in smith hall? - bart

T-shirts: Almost ready. The cost will be charged to the roboorg tartancard, people will pay roboorg.
Vote taken on tshirts with/without text ... both are popular
===> both will be offered as options on the website.

Lunch with Cheryl: hasn't happened in a while, try to make it happen soon.

Faculty-student potlucks: Nidhi has been busy ... maybe on at the end of this semester, or early next sem.

RoboOrg positions: 
* Social Czar position soon to be vacated by Nidhi, needs replacement.
* Need 2 new vice-roboczars
* Need to send out an email asking for candidates for these positions

Website: Mark's updating it. Tax-exempt form and alcohol form need to be on it but be password-protected.

Office allocation policy: Nidhi will write up the policy discussed with Cheryl by end-of-semester

Tour Queue: autonomous now, running fine.

Demo of LED sensors: Tom Lauwers is working on it.

Mini-tutorials: Some people think we should have mini-tutorials on different useful topics like using SICK lasers, various math thingies, coding. No
conclusion to this discussion.

Note for food-ordering next time: 3-4 pizzas are more than enough.
