Carnegie Mellon Robotics Institute
There are two types of internships available at the Robotics Institute; an 11-week "RI Summer Scholars" internship and a less formal internship that is available year-round.
The Robotics Institute Summer Scholars Program is an innovative summer internship program that exposes talented undergraduate students to research. The program is headed by Dr. Drew Bagnell. Interns have the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art research projects and to be mentored by leading faculty throughout the Robotics Institute. The program introduces aspiring students to the dynamic resources and opportunities available at the Institute. The Summer Scholars program generally begins June 1st and ends in mid-August. Each intern may have a slightly different schedule depending on the research team and project they are working on. Many of the internships are paid positions.
Undergraduate students from both US and international institutions are eligible to apply by submitting their resume and personal statement from late fall through early spring to the RI Summer Scholars Program.Submissions only accepted during the period noted above.
