Abstract
Image Understanding tesearch at CMU addresses a broad spectrum of issues, from applications of machine vision to the development of new sensors and basic vision science. The focal areas of our research include:

  • Physics-Based Vision
  • Parallel Vision
  • Sensor Development
  • Vision for Object Recognition and Manipulation
  • Vision for Robot Vehicles
