Project Description

his technology has been used by our industrial sponsor to automate large haulage vehicles that operate in strip mines. A prototype haulage vehicle (777) has logged 8000 miles in a strip mine todate. A commercial product called the AUTONOMOUS MINING TRUCK was announced at Mine Expo 1996.
