Robotics Institute Offers Robotics Systems Development Degree
August 19, 2010. Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotics Institute is offering a new master’s degree program in robotic systems development that will provide beginning and early-entry practicing professionals with the multidisciplinary skills and know-how needed to succeed in industry. Graduates of this program will be capable of operating at a higher technical/managerial level within a company, making them extremely desirable job candidates.
Dragon Runner Named "Most Durable"
March 11, 2010. Dragon Runner, the 20-pound “throwable” reconnaissance robot developed at the Robotics Institute, is the world’s most durable military robot, according to the editors of the 2010 edition of Guinness World Records.
