September 07, 2012. On a recent, hot Friday afternoon members of the Platypus team were gathered around a pond in Schenley Park below the Carnegie Mellon University testing their technology.
|TechBridgeWorld's NavPal Featured in Pittsburgh Post-Gazette|
April 25, 2012. NavPal, an Android smartphone app, was developed through the Robotics Institute's TechBridgeWorld program to provide audio and tactile cues to help guide the visually impaired. The technology and Project Scientist Balajee Kannan were featured in a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette article.
