		Robotics Institute Featured on Plum TV January 03, 2011. Plum TV’s “Masters of Innovation” series and host Jim Brasher visited Carnegie Mellon and the Robotics Institute to see the future of robotics, including snake robots, robot soccer and HERB, the robotic butler. Watch the video here.
		Michalowski, Keepon Win Smiley Award April 22, 2010. Marek Michalowski, a Ph.D. student in robotics, and Keepon, an ingratiating robot that looks like a tiny yellow snowman, are the winners of this year’s Smiley Award, presented annually to a Carnegie Mellon University student for innovation in technology-assisted person-to-person communication.
