In general, I am interested in making mobile robots work better in the real world. Most of the robots that exist today are unreliable and nonperforming in real environments. Even in the lab environment most mobile robots suffer nearly constant failures. Towards this end, I am currently conducting research in the area of robot reliability. We are developing analytical models for the reliability of robots, robot teams, and robot missions. |
