My current research interests lie in obstacle detection and terrain registration for use on autonomous outdoor robots. I am currently devoting most of my time to Team Blitz of the PerceptOR project that is a technology feed into Future Combat Systems Program. In the PerceptOR project, my main responsibilities are software architecture design, obstacle detection and terrain registration. Additionally, I am interested in developing many robust and flexible robotics software libraries that can be used in many projects at the NREC. |
