My current research effort is to explore the use of co-robots in enhancing the safety and independence of blind and visually impaired travelers, with the goal of assisting these travelers to navigate unfamiliar urban environments effectively. In recent years, my research interests have been at the intersection of assistive robots, human-robot interaction, and robotic sensor networks.
