My primary project is Preoperative Planning for Total Hip Replacement surgery. This planning includes implant sizing and orientation decisions along with an interactive range of motion simulator allowing the surgeon to predict the kinematic limitation of the post-operative joint. I also work on automated segmentation/model generation, the Image Overlay project, and the interoperative HipNav and KneeNav systems. |
| Additional Interests |
Though I remain connected to the lab through common research, I currently am the Director of Software Development for CASurgica, Inc., a spin-off company working towards commercialization of technology developed in the MRCAS/ICAOS lab. |
