The Robotics Institute

My primary interests are in medical informatics applications, such as clinical information systems, medical robotics, machine language translation. Most of my work as an IPA (Intergovernmental Personnel Agreement Act) is focused on development and implementation of clinical applications for Dept. of Defense hospital. My other area of interest is how to apply robotics to a battlefield setting in order to locate and evacuate wounded soldiers as well as assist medics with emergency medical treatment. One of the projects, I have been working on is the NG-LSTAT (Next Generation Life Support for Trauma and Transport) conceptual study design. The goal of this research is to apply robotics to the current LSTAT platform.
