Research Interests

My research is focused on developing control strategies based on neurological control structure and implementing them in engineered systems. Presently, our group is designing and constructing an Anatomically Accurate Testbed (ACT) of the hand with similar kinematic and dynamic properties of the human hand. The goal is to use this device as a testbed for further studies in dexterous end effectors, human motor coordination, control structure and biomechanics. This research is being conducted in the Neurobotics Lab at Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute under the advisement of Dr. Yoky Matsuoka.
