I work with Professor Chris Atkeson in the area of ubiquitous computing. I am interested in using information collected by hundreds of simple sensors in a home environment to predict the location and behavior of occupants. These predictions can help people with disabilities or the elderly to live longer independently by providing peace of mind to adult children and day-to-day activity information to physicians. |
