Research interests

My research interests are in the areas of Computer Vision, such as object detection and tracking, active vision, and cooperative distributed vision. Recently, my main focus has been human 3D shape/posture/motion analysis that enables a variety of real-world applications with a camera system. In particular, analyzing shape/motion of (loose-fitting) clothing by human body motion and its shape/motion hidden by the clothing should be a new field for realistic computer graphics and next-generation 3D video archiving.

Research interest keywords

active perception, computer vision, human motion simulation, multi-agent systems, and visual tracking
