Biography

I am a PhD student in the Bioengineering Department at the University of Pittsburgh. My advisor is George Stetten, CMU Research Scientist and Assistant Professor at the Unviersity of Pittsburgh.

Research interests

Our research is focused on medical image analysis and the development of the Insight Tool Kit (ITK). We are developing automated methods for identifying correspondences between medial-based image features towards shape recognition and image registration. ITK is a open-source tool kit to perform many commonly utilized methods for image analysis and segmentation. We have been developers since its 2000, contributing to the base classes, as well as our own algorithms.

Research interest keywords

bioengineering, medical imaging, and object recognition
