I'm working in the Heli lab (my host is Mr. Omead Amidi). My first project was to design one device, the protocol converter between the inertial system and central processor unit for R-MAX helicopter.

Momentarily, I'm charged with another project. My mission is to redesign the infrared laser scanner for the same helicopter, the final goal is to be able to observe the tiny obstacles (like wires), using this device. With other words, this device is a radar with light (LIDAR) for short range.

Past Labs & Groups

Helicopter Lab - A vision-guided robot helicopter which can function in any weather conditions using only on-board intelligence and computing power.

Past Projects

Autonomous Helicopter - Develop a vision-guided robot helicopter
