My research area is computer vision with an emphasis on pattern recognition on images and image sequences. I am currently on sabbatical leave at Pittsburgh Pattern Recognition, Inc. which I recently founded with Dr. Robert Lowe
and Dr. Michael Nechyba.

Human Identification at a Distance - We are developing and evaluating human identification technologies as part of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) sponsored program in Human Identification at a Distance (HumanID).
