Research interests
Autonomous robotic science and exploration, with an emphasis on Bayesian methods.
Recently built the rock and meteorite classification system onboard the Nomad robot used to search for meteorites in Antarctica.
Other areas of interest are active sensor selection and statistically modelling the environment.

and integrated exploratory science from a robot.

Global Connection Project - The Global Connection Project develops software tools and technologies to increase the power of images to connect, inform, and inspire people to become engaged and responsible global citizens.

Robotic Antarctic Meteorite Search - Developing robots to search for
meteorites in Antarctica, as an analog of a planetary
exploration robot.

Sun Synchronous Navigation - We are developing the algorithms, technologies, and experiments that will fulfill the vision of sun-synchronous circumnavigation.
