Research interests

I work on Computer Vision and 3D graphics. In specific, using machine vision in rendering and view synthesis for virtual environments. I also do mobile robotics, planning under uncertainty and embedded systems.

Research interest keywords

artificial intelligence, computer graphics, computer vision, and visual tracking

Past Labs & Groups

Medical Instrumentation Lab - We are developing intelligent tools for microsurgery and minimally invasive surgery.
Virtualized RealityTM - Construct views of real events from nearly any viewpoint

Past Projects

3D Belly - View Synthesis from multiple micro-CCD cameras placed on the belly.
Scene Flow - Methods of computing dense, non-rigid motion of 3D scenes.
Spatio-Temporal View Interpolation - An image-based rendering algorithm for view interpolation across both space and time.
Virtualized RealityTM - Construct views of real events from nearly any viewpoint
