Research interests

Though traditional sensing technologies have progressed in last few decades, difficult problems remain, that is how can we measure sensory or ambiguous features. Any traditional physical sensor cannot measure those features. My research interest is to develop methods to solve these problems. Vision technology is one of technology areas where such difficulties must be solved. Many people are expecting vision technology to measure features usual sensors can't because they can recognize those features on images or pictures easily. However it is not so easy to extract those features automatically, because in many actual cases images have too many noises to solve problems by using physical models or principle models.

I'm staying as a visiting scholar to challenge those difficult problems and learn many things to solve them.
