Biography

Samuel Drulhe is a Master student of the French school Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan and of the Orsay (Paris XI) University.

Research interests

I have a french background (that means a lot of theory knowledges, but fiew practise yet) in ECE fields. My basis in Controls, Electronics, Physics, Advanced Calculus, Motors, and Signal Processing are usefull for Robotics. But I'm still learning every day ! I'm working on computer vision and on sensing problems. Currently, I am focusing on the problem of audio stereo recognition for my colony of robots so that they are able to find the position of a source of noise (each robot got a microphone).

Research interest keywords

acoustics, computer vision, and mobile robots

Past Labs & Groups

3D Computer Vision Group - We are developing techniques for representing, comparing, and matching general, free-form surfaces.
Vision and Mobile Robotics Lab - Our group studies fundamental problems of Computer Vision and ground mobile robotics.

Past Projects

Cognitive Colonies - We are developing the basic principles that will best govern a group of robots trying to do useful work in difficult and hazardous environments.
