Research interests

My interests revolve around medical imaging and image registration. I am mainly interested in taking 2D images and registering them to 3D images and models.

Research interest keywords

image processing, medical applications, medical imaging, and medical robotics

Past Labs & Groups

Medical Robotics and Computer Assisted Surgery - Researching planning (medical image computing, simulation) and execution (intraoperative sensing and actuation) technologies for computer-assisted surgery.

Past Projects

Automated Material Transport System
Hip Navigation System - Preoperative and intraoperative planning and execution system for high-precision total hip replacement.
XAlign - 2D/3D registration technique is used to analyze the postoperative pelvic radiographs and to measure placement of implants after total hip replacement
