Visual Filters for Scene Classification
Computer Science Researcher, Army Research Laboratory
April 02, 2012, 3pm, NSH 1305
"Visual filters" is an approach to the problem of scene classification. We learn classifiers that act as a series of convolution kernels to generate a probability map for belonging to each class. The filters are able to take into account context to improve their estimates.
