InkJet Large Format Poster Printer

Stocks for trays and paper deck: Standard 28#
paper ONLY!
***Anything higher will cause jams and break the machine!***
Stocks for manual feeder: Paper up to 100# and Transparencies
Press the paper selection key, select paper size, manual feed and
heavy or extra heavy stock depending on the weight of the paper you
are running.
scanners
Our flatbed scanner may be used to positive and negative scans from prints, negatives and slides. Please log your information in the book provided at the scanner desk.
laminator
Items may be laminated by obtaining plastic sleeves and instruction from Debbie Tobin in NSH 3201.
tech support
Printer and/or Computer Hangs In case of a printing hang-up follow these steps in order. Restarting one machine will not help.
- Exit Command Workstation Program.
- From the Start Menu select Shutdown and then Restart.
- Turn off the Copier (Button is located on the right side panel)
- Turn on Copier back on after a few seconds
The terminal will restart back to the Edox operating queue window. No
passwords should be requested but if they are, just press return when prompted.
Adding Rainbow (technically named "newrainbow") or Inkjet to Your Computer
Windows
- Start Menu, Settings, Printers
- Double-click "add printer"
- Choose "Network Printer"
- Choose "Type the printer name"
- Type "\\newrainbow\rainbowCOLOR" or "\\edox\inkjet" and click "Next"
- Most likely you do not want this printer to be your default, so choose "No" and click next
Macintosh (OS X)

loaner cameras
Digital cameras are available to be borrowed by making
arrangements with Debbie Tobin in NSH 3201, ext. 8-3814. Please give enough
advance notice to be sure a camera is available. No guarantee can be made
that the camera will be available and the person checking it out is responsible
for returning
it in the same condition.
