Magnetic Levitation Haptic Consortium
The purpose of the Magnetic Levitation Haptic Consortium is to foster greater utilization of this technology, to share research experiences and results, to develop and share haptic rendering software using magnetic levitation haptic devices, and to work together as a community to apply the developed knowledge to important problems.

People Image Analysis Consortium
The People Image Analysis (PIA) Consortium develops and distributes technologies that process images and videos to detect, track, and understand peoples' faces, bodies, and activities.


The Robotics Institute is part of the School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University.
